Laurie Anderson
Managing Director
Laurie has over 30 valuable years experience in the construction industry.
After finishing his carpentry qualification Laurie subcontracted himself out for 10 years to various domestic and commercial builders throughout his 20s gaining valuable onsite experience.
Laurie has always been a savvy business minded entrepreneur having started up a labour hire company specialising in commercial construction in his early 30’s which enabled him to gain valuable skills in business, managing projects and most importantly managing people.
Laurie then started his second business, Anderson Homes, which at the time was purely for his own projects, developing high end architectural custom homes. Laurie decided this was his passion and put all of his energy in designing architecturally stunning homes and working with over 100 happy clients to achieve their dream home.
Laurie prides himself on his golf game, loves escaping down to his holiday house in Flinders on the weekend and is a passionate Hawthorn supporter.
Gerard Tierney
Estimator & Contract Administrator
Gerard joined Anderson Homes over 10 years ago as Estimator & Contract Administrator. Before then Gerard worked in several industries in most states of Australia and overseas as an Estimator and Project Manager.
Gerard is a carpenter and joiner by trade, having been in the industry for over 30 years and with knowledge and experience across residential, commercial, insurance and retail industries, making Gerard a valuable asset to the business.
Charlie Anderson
Apprentice
Charlie is in the midst of completing his apprenticeship.
Charlie started as a labourer in October of 2019 full time after making the decision he wanted to pursue a career following his fathers’ footsteps. After showing he was committed to the work force and the industry, he started his apprenticeship in at Box Hill Institute studying a Certificate 3 in Carpentry.
Liz Bartlett
Office Manager
Liz has been with Laurie for over 25 years working closely with him in both OCC Labour Hire Services and now Anderson Homes.
Liz has been pivotal in both businesses providing support and guidance in both finance and administration for over 25 years.
Liz has also been by Laurie’s side from the beginning and has also provided administrative support to Laurie’s Private equity funds.
Steve James
Site Foreman
Steve is a fully qualified builder with over 30 years of managing construction sites of all sizes.
Having had his own building company for many years Steve’s experience and knowledge in the industry is invaluable.
